Fiona Bateman provides legal expertise and is the vice-chair of the London SAB. Fiona is SAB Chair for Barnet, Islington and Sutton. Fran Pearson is the immediate former convenor of the national network and is SAB Chair for Leicester City; Leicestershire and Rutland; Newham; and Tower Hamlets. Adi Cooper attends the network as representative for the care and health improvement advisor for LGA. She is the SAB Chair for Haringey and for City of London and Hackney.

Jane Geraghty - Following privatisation of NPS, I was CEO of Notttinghamshire Probation Trust, I decided to develop a portfolio of paid and unpaid work,.I continued by long term involvement with Homestart, a large homelessness charity and 6 yrs ago with friends set up a charity to assist the resettlement of largely Syrian and Afgan refugees This takes a lot of my time snd has been a south of much fulfilment, I drew on my vast experience of safeguarding and passion for user engagement in chairing one Children Board and a number of SABs. I currently chair Bradford, am IS in Northamptonshire and Chair and IS in Doncaster. I am also a hands on grandma Andrew Robey - I am currently the independent chair of two SABs Kent & Medway and the London Borough of Bexley, and now the lead chair for the Southeast region of Safeguarding Boards. My background career is from Policing. I was a Kent Police Officer for 30 year and finished my career in 2014. My Policing career was varied and fulfilling and having completed the requisite 30 years I was ready to move on to new challenges. Since 2014 I have worked in the charity sector as a trustee supporting a Domestic Abuse charity, 'Sateda' and 'Bright Shadow' supporting people with dementia and their carers through Arts, dance, and music. I have been a Parish councillor for the village where I live and a lay member for the Kent Children's board, I also currently perform the role of Safeguarding advisory for the Diocese of Rochester with the Diocese Advisory Panel. I have gained extensive experience as an independent chair for serious case reviews and have been chair and author of Domestic Homicide Reviews, Safeguarding Adult Reviews and Serious case reviews for MAPPA (Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements) I have enjoyed learning new processes and skills since my Policing career and enjoyed the challenges and rewards of chairing Safeguarding Adult Boards. Executive Pen Picture I am currently the independent chair of Gloucestershire SAB and have held that position since 2014. Prior to taking up this role I was a career police officer and held the position of Head of the Public Protection Bureau and have extensive experience of working in partnership and in particular safeguarding adults. I am also engaged by the Integrated Care Board as an Independent Supporter under the Transforming Care Agenda and a Senior Review in the Learning from lives and deaths review programme for people with a learning disability and have extensive experience of undertaking reviews. I am also a trustee of Inclusion Gloucestershire – an all age or disability user-led organisation.
